This play was written and directed by Pankayamanalan to make audiences laugh and think. It has been presented multiple times for art lovers and Tamils, both on stage and over the radio.
The play is a work of social awareness that addresses the conflicts, disputes, and generational gaps among our current and future generations in the UK and other Western countries.
It was first broadcast as a radio series on Sunrise Radio, thanks to the continued encouragement of Mrs. Yoga Thillainathan, a senior announcer at Radio Sri Lanka, and the technical support of Mr. Arumugam Thillainathan.
The play was re-staged multiple times for different audiences and radio waves, with a variety of social and artistic skills contributing to its direction and presentation by Pankayamanalan.
It’s also worth noting that the well-known radio announcer and writer Amar Vimalasokkan praised this play in a newspaper after seeing it staged to raise funds for the construction of the London SroniRajarajeswari Amman Temple.
