This is a play written and directed by the writer Pankayamanalan at the request of the Walthamstow Tamil Sangam. It was staged for one of their cultural events.
In this production, Malini, Lakshmi, Ananthi, and MavooraBalathavi and other young people participated and performed with excellence. The play is a powerful artistic portrayal of the feelings, aspirations, and the heart-wrenching struggles of a widowed mother who refuses to give up her self-respect.
